We engineered the digital backbone for the House of Guinness installation in Kuala Lumpur. The system handled automated video ingestion and real-time cloud synchronisation.

CONCEPT

Industrial Storytelling

To launch Guinness Draught in a Can, the brand constructed an industrial installation in Kuala Lumpur. This high-production exhibition explained the science behind their nitrogen-widget technology, taking visitors on a journey that included boarding a custom railway buggy and riding a hydraulic lift inside a giant Guinness can.

PIPELINE

Live Data Synchronisation

Key moments of the journey were captured on video. To manage this content, we set up a local media server that received footage from the cameras and automatically uploaded it to the cloud. The recording process was manually triggered by staff via a custom tablet app, ensuring cameras always rolled at the right moment.

Instant Video Access

At the end of the tour, visitors entered a lobby equipped with touchscreen kiosks. Mirroring a roller coaster photo experience, guests could review clips from their session and download the footage directly to their phones as a digital memory.

Digital Twin

To preserve this captivating installation, we transformed the site into a digital museum. Using high-resolution 360º photography, we created an interactive VR tour featuring a custom mini-game, allowing users to discover the secrets of the stout through digital play.
